Welcome to Xhibit a safe and free space for sharing creative ideas and photography outside of social media and club competitions for members and prospective members.
We’re a bit different from the other special interest groups in that we aren’t planning any big exciting outings.. rather, if you join us, you’re opening your mind to a world full of possibilities..
Within Xhibit you will meet like minded photographers sharing their journey with their photography, encouragement with creativity, and importantly the ability to show us what you’re working on and doing.
We are really keen on wanting to know who YOU are through your photography, and supporting your journey through an informal network of peers.

Meet the Xhibit team:
Rachelle Johnston - I believe in happy accidents and take joy from the process of creating an image rather than the final product. My “plans” are always fluid when it comes to creating.
Louise Knight - Photography lets me see the world and explore off the beaten track. I love picking a place to explore, and then finding the image. I plan a bit more than Rachelle - but still relish those times when an image just happens!
What you need to know…
We will be meeting online monthly to look at any images submitted to the Xhibit email address. This is a space to share imagery and creative thought processes in a non competitive environment. No scores, grades, or judgements will be given here!
Image Submission
You can submit up to 2 images, no larger than 10MB. Your Images must be labelled as follows:
YourName_TitleofImage
Images must be submitted 3 days prior to the monthly meeting.
In your email please indicate:
Where you believe your skill level is at: Beginner, Novice, Intermedia, Expert
If you don’t want your images published on this website, please tell us!
Joining the Meeting
Meetings are going to be informal, the Xhibit administration team will put together a slide of all the images and at the meeting the images will be shown. The photographer will get a few minutes to speak to their image. At this point, you want to consider are you asking for help? Do you want feedback? Are you preparing the piece for something special - tell us about it!
Participants
Within Xhibit we want to grow and foster the authentic voice of our members, and thus we expect all participants to behave in a respectful and supportive way. We encourage you to share your positive feedback and encouragement with each other here in the meeting.

Submit your image no later than: the Friday before the Xhibit meeting.
Exhibits are on: the 1st Monday of every month.
